Weight Loss & Confidence Workshop

Workshops are undertaken across the country and with these specific topics, the goal is to find the reason for being overweight and if and how that hampers one’s confidence.

Being overweight is not necessarily the only reason for low self-esteem and a lack of confidence. It has many underlying reasons and even the most beautiful people can suffer from deep hurts and repressed memories, impacting their own self-image and how they relate to others as a result.

With extensive training in and being able to personally identify with these issues, Adél is able to, in a caring and compassionate manner interact with each person during this workshop to ultimately provide the individual tools needed to overcome. It is not a one-tool-works-for all and she makes provision to meet individual needs. And yes, she was also once overweight, bullied and suffered from low self-esteem!

If I can do it, you can do it!

As a nutritionist, her unique coaching methods also include a full session on assessing reasons behind weight increase and addressing each attendee’s personal aim and vision. Some people only wish to lose the accumulated weight after the birth of a baby while others want to be fit, slim and muscular.

Topics addressing body issues, which usually (but not always) tie in with confidence issues, include why yo-yo diets do not work, scientific facts are provided to bust myths and  address misinformation and individual plans are designed to reach individual goals.

The workshop is a full day (9 to 4pm), but upon request, can be shortened to a morning, depending on specific topic/s. A full day’s workshop includes refreshments and a light lunch. Morning only events include refreshments.

Attendees are given homework to complete in the privacy of their homes and Adél will always be available to assist in your personal journey of growth.

The coaching is based on a unique 3-step system:

1 – Mind-set strategies for a strong and positive mental attitude which includes mind-set mentoring, goalsetting and making a Vision Board (Plan).

2 – Food & Supplementation includes guidelines for healthy eating habits, weight loss and reversing insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.

3 – Movement and me-time is the 3rd step, focusing on the role of exercise and choosing what works for you and the importance of self-care and making time for yourself.
